Good for a variety of skin and scalp issues and for pruritis. The Prices say it's a good arterial regenerator. Its high sesquiterpene ketone, atlantone (at 20%), makes it stimulating. Caution if pregnant.
This is a wildcrafted, South African oil with a high Ester content. It's light and sweet and Marge Clark says it's a good stress reliever.
According to Mills (1991), the right azulene and bisabolol content make German Chamomile good for reducing histamine-induced reactions like hay fever and asthma. It's highly anti-inflammatory and is good for soothing skin irritations.
Described by Penoel as "the queen of anti-spasmodics," Roman Chamomile is a great muscle relaxer . Generally non-toxic, it's active against Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. Don't use if allergic to ragweed.
Strong, earthy note. It has a balancing effect on estrogen/progesterone imbalances. However, it has reported contraindications of pregnancy, birth control pills and a recalibration of any hormone replacement therapy medications.
This essential oil smells almost identical to the herb so a little goes a long way! It's anti-inflammatory and sedative and contains 95% aldehydes. It's distilled from coriander leaves and has different properties from the oil distilled from the seeds. I put this in my personal insomnia blend and find it intoxicating and relaxing, all at the same time.
Good for acute bacterial infections. Strongly antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antiseptic and anti-infectious. It's great for clearing the air, not only of germs but of smells. Its high cinnamic aldehyde content makes it potentially phototoxic. Potential skin irritant. Not for use on babies or young children (under 5 years of age according to Schnaubelt).
Clary Sage has over 250 conponents. They give it euphoric properties and make it calming to the parasympathetic nervous system.  It has a high sclareol content with estrogen-like qualities and these make it good for female issues.
Broad anti-microbial action. Good for acute and chronic infections. Shown in tests to be effective against tuberculosis. Can cause severe dermatitis if used topically and undiluted.
