The solid fat from the roasted seed of the cacao plant. It's been used for centuries in Africa for its healing and moisturizing abilities and possesses that mouth-waterhing chocolate aroma. It has a shelf life of over 3 years. It's easily absorbed into the skin. The major cacao producers are the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria and Cameroon - as exotic as the butter itself!

This carrier is a good moisturizer and a protective layer for the skin. It's suitable for irritated skin and for those with skin sensitivities. Easily absorbed by the skin, it has a nice, creamy texture.
